Young people on the edge without job or education
In the Bikuben Foundation, we wish to contribute to a strengthening of young people's capacities for coping with life. We made an innovative re-assessment of our application process, and 1 September 2018 marked the deadline for the contribution of new ideas for concepts targeted at the development and testing of new approaches for bringing vulnerable young people closer to jobs and education. We shall not grant any funds to individual project ideas, as it is rather our ambition to support new types of collaborative relationships across different players and sectors – relationships that are focused on the development of strong concepts.
We invited civil-society organisations, municipalities, research institutions and private players to submit proposals; and we will support the selected concepts on the basis of a long-term perspective with up to DKK 10m over a period of up to five years.
